R. Craig Boyd, was born in 1957 in Paris, Texas, and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1982. Craig attended the University of Texas at Austin where he received a BBA with honors in 1979 and Southern Methodist University in Dallas where he earned his degree of Juris Doctor in 1982 with a concentration in taxation. He then became licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in 1984.
Mr. Boyd’s law practice is devoted to representation of licensed professionals, entrepreneurs, families and individuals with regard to estate and business planning, health care law, asset preservation, probate, real estate, and general business including corporate, partnership, limited liability, and professional entities. His practice includes some foreign as well as domestic planning.
Mr. Boyd is a current member of the Smith County Bar Association, State Bar of Texas, State Bar College of Texas, Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and American Association of Attorney-Certified Public Accountants.
Mr. Boyd and his wife, Maudie, have two children, live in Tyler, Texas, are active members of Green Acres Baptist Church and enjoy traveling, scuba diving, sailing and physical fitness.
